On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Head of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary-General of the Communist Party Nong Duc Manh and the Vietnamese people on Independence Day.

Vietnam has plans to intensify cooperation with Belarus in trade, economy and science, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Belarus Dang Huy Tran said in a solemn meeting marking the 65th anniversary of Vietnam's independence.

New "milk wars" are not possible within the Customs Union of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan, said the deputy chief of department of customs control of the State Customs Committee of Belarus Andrei Planin at a press-conference in Minsk.

The fight against bureaucracy will remain one of Belarus' state policy top priorities, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko told media.

Belarus' fifth sugar refinery will be built in Bobruisk, Prime Minister of Belarus Sergei Sidorsky told media.
